[Print your placard](https://brands.getburst.com/go/placements?create=placard) from Placements. Reprints are free, and cardstock makes it pop. ## Where to put it #### At the register Catches people at the moment they're thinking about money. Put it at eye level. The counter beats the window. #### On the shelf, next to the expensive items The spot people skip, and often the best performer. Use an **offering tag** here so the scan arrives with that offering already chosen. #### On the receipt or the bag So they scan at home and come back. #### In the window Costs nothing and works on people who never came in. ## Tell your staff one sentence > "If you're paying for something over a hundred dollars, scan that code, you might be able to use your FSA or HSA." A placard nobody mentions out loud gets a fraction of the scans. Have staff point to it **before the customer leaves**: the letter has to be requested the same day as the purchase. For the full walkthrough and answers to common register questions, see [The in-store customer journey](/in-store-journey). ## Other printed placements From [Placements](https://brands.getburst.com/go/placements) you can create a QR code for each spot: | Type | Use it for | | ------------- | ----------------------------------------------------- | | Placard | Your counter or register | | Offering tag | A hang tag that names one specific product or service | | Window poster | Your storefront window | | Pamphlet | Handouts and brochures | | Other | Anywhere else | Give each one a name you'll recognize so you can see which spot earns its keep. See [Tracking placements](/placements). > **Note** > > On the Free plan you get your default placard. Extra QR codes for every product and service are part of the [Growth plan](/plans). ## Test it Scan your own placard with your phone. Your first scan checks off the **Test it with your phone** step in your onboarding checklist. > Put it where people pay, then somewhere else.
