# How long do letters take?

Most letters are reviewed the same day. Customers hear back by email as soon as their letter is ready.

## What to tell customers

> Turnaround isn't the deadline that matters. What matters is that the customer **requests** the letter the same day they buy, because letters can't cover earlier purchases.

## Tracking a customer's letter

You can see where a customer is in [Leads](https://brands.getburst.com/go/leads): **In progress**, **Paid**, or **Letter sent**. For anything else, have the customer reply to their Burst email, or [contact us](/contact).
