# Your first week

Read the section for how you sell, do the first step, and you should see your first letter inside a week. The onboarding checklist on your [dashboard home](https://brands.getburst.com/go) tracks this for you and checks steps off as it detects them.

#### Confirm your details

Your business name and address appear on customer letters. Check them in [Settings](https://brands.getburst.com/go/settings?section=business).

#### Print your placard

#### Put it where people pay

The counter beats the window. Put it at eye level, then add a second spot.

#### Tell your staff one sentence

"If you're paying for something over a hundred dollars, scan that code, you might be able to use your FSA or HSA." A placard nobody mentions out loud gets a fraction of the scans.

#### Scan it yourself

Two minutes, and it's the only way to know what your customer sees. Your test scan checks this step off automatically.

#### Add the product page badge

## Then, in order

1. Put up one placement today. One, not five.
2. Try it yourself as a customer.
3. Tell your staff, or add the sentence to your product copy.
