# How does billing work, and can I pause?

## Billing

The Growth plan is billed monthly to the card on file. If you [cover the letter fee](/letter-fee), each letter sent is added to your subscription bill.

Open [Settings → Billing](https://brands.getburst.com/go/settings?section=billing) and click **Manage billing** to:

* Update your card
* See invoices
* Pause or cancel your subscription

Only the store's [owner](/team) can change billing. Staff can view it.

## Pausing

You can pause anytime from Settings. While paused:

* Your Burst link, QR codes, and placements **keep working**
* Customers pay the **standard letter price** (\$35) instead of the discounted one
* Growth features go back to Free plan limits

Resume from the same place whenever you're ready.
